Wellness Wednesday: Do You Organic?

Organic or non-organic? This is one of the topics I have been hesitant to discuss because I believe we don’t have all the information we need to make a definitive answer. However, there is never going to be a time when we do know all we need to know, so I thought it was important to begin the discussion so that we are at least informed. I have read a lot of “scary” material on non-organic foods and have therefore chosen to purchase exclusively organic products. With that said, there are times I am out to eat, at someone else’s home, or my husband does the shopping and it is not guaranteed everything is organic. Fit Friday: Stay In the Orange, A Review of OTF

Happy Friday, happy first full moon, happy Friday the 13th, happy long-weekend…there’s so much to be excited about heading into a three-day weekend! It has been raining like crazy here in Southern CA, which has been a welcomed change since we need the water and it’s forcing everyone to be inside all cozy and rockin’ actual winter-weather clothes. There are a few people I know who’ve undergone complete diet and lifestyle changes as well as rigorous chemotherapy to fight the cancer in their body. All instances, although different types of cancer varying at severity and diagnosis, were recommended to take wheatgrass shots twice daily. I don’t know what it is exactly and I wouldn’t feel so passionate about spreading the word if I it wasn’t for the affects I felt personally. It is very simple. The days I take a shot of wheatgrass I have more energy and feel focused and the days I don’t, I don’t. I give fair warning though, wheatgrass takes some getting used to as it does taste similar to what I imagine lawn clippings …
