Motivation Monday: Fashionably Sustainable

Happy Monday! I can’t believe it’s already the last week of August, this summer really has flown by. This past weekend was comprised of a lot of catch up consisting of errands, doing things around the house and an 8-hour training for Pilates (which I absolutely LOVED). My Friday post didn’t quite make it out on time so I am saving it for another week. Sometimes that’s just how it goes, right? One of the items on my to-do list this weekend was to get a pedicure…I know it’s pretty terrible but someone’s gotta do it 😉 While I was […]

Wellness Wednesday: Crystal Therapy

Crystals have an interesting backstory. Some extremists have gone to great lengths to harness this unachievable “power” emptying their bank accounts and making headlines which have contributed to the ‘voodoo/hocus pocus’ reputation these mystical rocks have gotten. Whether you are a believer in the power of crystals or not it is undeniable that any natural mass has the ability to harness energy and affect the environment around it. Those who believe in their power are convinced certain crystals harbor energy and are able to store, transmit and transform energy. Many people who are in the pursuit of health, wellness and […]

MSF Travel: Island Hopping Greece, Part V

Welcome back to a new week, full of promise and opportunity. This is the last installment of my island hopping around Greece where I summarize each stop along our trip we took in June. After we left Santorini we headed down to Rhodes, the most diverse and interesting island in my opinion. The landscape of Rhodes is full of vegetation and has rocky cliffs with some sand and rock beaches dispersed along its coast. We had the most connections on this island because this is where my brother studied abroad in college so we had many points of reference and […]

MSF Travel: Island Hopping Greece, Part IV

A new week is upon us and with it the opportunity to spend it however we choose. I am going to stand on my soapbox for just one second, so bear with me. I feel like there is a lot of entitlement in the air lately and its something we should try to steer clear from. We are faced with choices that dictate our future more than we may even realize. If you choose to stay home binge watching Netflix and eating Cheetos, that is your right but also your choice. If you decide to work as many jobs as […]

MSF Travel: Island Hopping Greece, Part III

Happy Monday friends, I hope you had a restful/productive weekend and are ready to take on another week. I’m ready to take you on a little adventure and continue with my island hopping series in Greece. After the hustle and bustle of the city on mainland Greece, it was nice to jet off to Mykonos where we had some serious rest and relaxation. It was refreshing to get a mini break from the “go go go” we experienced, because unlike Athens where there is an endless amount of historical sites to see, the islands get a little less hectic and […]

MSF Travel: Island Hopping Greece, Part II

I’m back at it! I apologize for missing Fit Friday, technology is amazing and helpful most times but can be trying and frustrating once in awhile 😉 It’s Monday, the start of the workweek and a perfect time to pick up where I left off on my recap of our island hopping adventure in Greece. We left Athens to take a day trip to Delphi (you may want to pronounce it del-fy but the locals assured us it was pronounced del-fee). I didn’t know too much about Delphi, aside from the mythical references in movies and stories from history class. […]

MSF Travel: Island Hopping Greece, Part I

Happy Monday! I hope your weekend was a perfect blend of productivity & play. We have been doing work around the house and organizing in a major way, which always feels great. I was able to sprinkle in a few yoga classes with my Pilates schedule and I forgot how much my body needs it. I want to incorporate more when I can, so good for your mind AND body. As promised, I am going to start my shorthand version of our Greece trip in a travel journal type of post over the course of the next few Mondays. We […]

Motivation Monday: Manifest Your Dream Life

It’s the start to a fresh week and if you’re interested in this kind of thing, the last week for our current moon before we get a new moon on Sunday. Sometimes I do make connections with behaviors or patterns in accordance to the cycle of the moon, and fun fact the tides are also affected by the moon (also the sun, but not as much). The moon can be a powerful thing if you want to believe in its energy. That brings me to back to what I wanted to talk about for today’s Motivation Monday. I base most […]

Motivation Monday: No Doubt

Summer is FULL of good vibes. There’s sunshine, outdoor activities, longer days, and for some, a bit of travel. While you could be nose deep in a beach worthy novel, toes in the sand, chilled glass of rose in hand (aaahh) there still could be a part of you that is just feeling…well for lack of a better word…blah. Sometimes I find myself (even in the best of circumstances) feeling a lack of motivation. If you’ve got it all together and have never felt this way, this post may not be for you. But for the rest of us, I […]

Motivation Monday: The Importance of Independence

With a day to celebrate independence on the horizon I wanted to take a moment to reflect. While I could go on a tangent about the state of the world right now and how unity is SO important, I’m not going to. Instead I wanted to talk about something motivating to us as individuals. Something worth discussing because now more than ever, I feel like the world is becoming more unsure and even a little scary, especially with social media and how quick news seems to travel these days. I don’t remember being so uncertain about the future. This can […]
